"Solstice's best instrument is their beautiful voice."
Solstice Alfie may be a fresh new face on the Tucson music scene, but he's been singing since before he could talk, and writing and composing original music since he was nine years old. Solstice plays guitar, viola, ukulele, recorder and keyboard bass guitar, electric guitar, but their best instrument is their beautiful voice.
Solstice is a prolific songwriter with over 250 hundred original compositions. Each song tells a personal story, whether it’s a story of love (Here to Stay or Breathe), social commentary (Wishing Well) or throwing a bit of sassy shade (Shit Talker or Heartbreaker). They released their first album, Angel from Hell, in 2018, with their producer and collaborator, Michael Martinez (musician, songwriter, and Executive Director of www.livetheatreworkshop.org).
